BRIDGES for a Just Community honors four individuals for distinguished service at the 58th Annual Awards Dinner on June 5, 2008, at the Duke Energy Center. Inayat K. Malik, M.D. served as the BRIDGES president from 2003 to 2005. Dr. Malik helped lead BRIDGES through its recent separation from the National Conference for Cmmunity and Justice(NCCJ)and was recently named the first chairman of the newly-formed National Federation for Just Communities.
